Introduction to briquetting

Raw materials are becoming increasingly scarce and prices are rising. Even though we are using the expensive raw materials more and more efficiently, we still end up with residual materials. There is still untapped potential in these residues in particular. These residues need to be recycled and returned to the energy cycle as often as possible.

What weighs more? A ton of lead or a ton of cotton?

To ensure that the collected, reusable raw materials do not exhaust our storage capacity - or that the savings in returning materials are offset by storage costs - it is important to reduce them to the smallest possible volume. By using briquetting presses, compressible materials can be reduced to an average compression ratio of 10:1 (for aluminum up to 20:1!).
