Briquetting presses for wood

Wood is a natural product. Due to the high level of compression into briquettes, it has approximately the same burning behavior as coal. In addition, burning wood briquettes is CO2-neutral, as only as much CO2 is released into the atmosphere as a growing tree absorbs through photosynthesis. By briquetting the wood waste (wood chips, shavings, sawdust), eight times the amount of wood waste can be stored in the same storage room. Furthermore, the risk of a dust explosion is reduced by binding the wood dust to such an extent that pressure relief areas are no longer required for these rooms. Due to the growing discussions about CO2 taxes, the greenhouse effect and the constantly rising oil prices, an interesting alternative that pays off!

Natural warmth

Wood briquettes can be used not only in fireplaces and tiled stoves, but in almost every solid fuel combustion system. 500kg of briquette made from wood shavings corresponds to a calorific value of 200lt. heating oil. Even after briquetting, your wood remains a natural product because it is pressed into evenly sized and hard briquettes under high pressure without any binding agents. This corresponds to the requirement of DIN 51731 – the German standard for wood pellets.

Dust in general

Where industrial filter dust is collected, the risk of spontaneous combustion - depending on the material - is very high. Using a dust press specially developed for this area, the surface is compacted at high pressures so that special protective measures are no longer necessary. There is no need to house an expensive CO2 extinguishing system, for example. Industrial dust, metal dust and dust from laser processing can not only be easily stored after briquetting - but can also be fed directly back into the melting process if necessary. The briquetting press can usually be installed without any effort under cyclones that throw dust particles out of the air. The use of rotary valves or similar systems can often be dispensed with.

Your profit:

Smaller storage space due to volume reduction.
Reduction of transport and handling costs.
Greater security.
Additional revenue from recycling.
Reducing fuel costs.
Additional source of income when selling wood briquettes.
